A note from Karlee
My name is Karlee, and Love From Above Co. is something I created from a little bit of heartbreak, a lot of love, and the courage to finally chase something of my own.
In January 2025, I lost my mom to Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. I was only 20 years old.
Losing my mom was the hardest thing I have ever experienced. It changed the way I look at life and taught me something important: you never know when your last day is going to be, and you never know how quickly your life can change.
My mom loved creating. She loved crafting, building decor for our home with our cousin, and making blankets. She was always finding something to make or something to add to our home. Although, anybody who knew her would agree: painting was not her strong suit.
After losing her, I found myself wanting to do something that scared me a little. Something outside of my comfort zone. I wanted to stop putting things off and start chasing the passions and ideas that I've always had.
That's where Love From Above Co. came from.
Creating has become my way of taking that lesson she left me and actually putting it into action. I'm taking a chance on myself, building something from the ground up, and creating things that I genuinely love.
And while my mom isn't here to watch me do it, I like to believe she's still watching, cheering me on, probably giving me a few opinions along the way, and reminding me that I can do hard things.
She's my own personal angel. My love from above.
Every piece I make carries a little bit of that love with it.
